THEATRE TO RE-OPEN UNDER

Andre Cailloux Center for Performing Arts & Cultural Justice

The Performing Arts Center, formerly home to Southern Rep Theatre, will re-open as, the Andre Cailloux Center for Performing Arts & Cultural Justice, a Black Woman led, BIPOC community serving, multi-tenant, performance art venue. This cultural reclamation of space prioritizes telling the stories of culturally unrepresented or misrepresented communities and supports a multi-layered BIPOC, community based, youth & student programming across multiple creative disciplines such as theatre, dance, opera, music and film. The Performing Arts Center appreciates your support and will re-emerge from this global pandemic better, greater & ready to serve the Bayou Rd, 7th Ward, and greater BIPOC performing art communities.
